Chaga has a long and rich history of use, and is often called the “queen of the forest.” In areas such as Siberia, China, and Scandinavia, it is considered almost divine, and in America, it is known as the “queen of herbs.”
Unlike regular mushrooms, which have a cap and a spore, Chaga is a sclerotia – a hardened mass of mycelium that is extremely hard. To extract all its valuable substances, we use a high-tech triple extraction process, which also includes ultrasonic extraction. This way, all the vital parts of Chaga are present in Foodsporen extracts. The liquid extract is standardized to at least 30 % polysaccharides, ensuring a powerful extract intake with every dose.
Modern naturopaths use Chaga because of their belief in its special properties.
