Vlasta Klep is the director of the company Humana Biomedicina and a professional associate of various complementary bio-medical institutions, where she deals with the holistic approach of treating people with an emphasis on the complementary approach of solving individual medical problems.
The red thread of her work is the introduction of medical cannabis (CBD) into the classical healthcare system, its legalization and simultaneous proper and in-depth education of people in the field of alternative treatment methods.
Vlasta Klep also delves into many researches on optimal human nutrition, because she believes that the essence of practically all health problems lies in the wrong diet. In this way, he parallels modern trends and cultural habits of nutritionists, which he also introduces into his work.
Her work is based on the individual treatment of the patient, which is the basis for her treatment therapy with the help of cannabis.
Her basic mission is the well-being of man, which she began to conceive from an ethical-scientific point of view already at the Karl-Franzes University in Graz, Austria, where she also participated in many international projects and researches of the Faculty of Medicine and Chemistry, which were later the basis for a master's study of bioengineering of sun protection agents, their penetration through the skin, and especially their toxicity. He is still working with the University of Southampton, UK and Professor Ali Tavassoli on the treatment of skin cancer using CBD products.
For several years, he has also been working with the Rebro University Clinic in Zagreb, especially with the Department of Pediatric Neurology and with Dr. Andrejo Bujan – Kovač and consequently with the Croatian Epilepsy Association. Previously, her specific scientific work was related to the treatment of epilepsy and other neurological diseases with cannabinoids in adults (Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, dementia) and an in-depth study of how dogs can predict epileptic seizures, United States of America.
She is convinced that people should and should be able to make their own decisions about different treatment methods, which would also be significantly easier if people were given enough information about treatment with the help of CBD, and their doctors would enable them through their own education in this area , to obtain this information. He knows from his own experience that there is still a rather large deficit in the knowledge of the positive healing properties of cannabinoids among the medical profession.
Master Vlasta Klep is also a member of the association of the Slovenian League against Epilepsy.
The patient signs that he agrees to the treatment process with the help of CBD products. (in the case of a minor or a person with impaired ability, the form must be signed by a parent or guardian).
Treatment with the help of cannabis is the sole decision of the patient himself, and at the same time, by signing, he agrees to the prescribed treatment. In case of independent changes regarding the therapy, the therapists deviate from the further treatment process.
We treat the individual as a whole being with their own needs and problems, and we delve into all the factors that influence disease changes. Based on this, our work is divided into a broader therapeutic approach.
A serious and in-depth analysis of the patient's health problems requires a detailed look at his medical documentation, dialogue and communication with the patient, assessment of the patient's current condition, etc.
Reasons for deciding to treat with the help of cannabis?
– analysis of the patient's medical history
– review of the entire patient documentation
– analysis of the patient's current condition
Based on the obtained information, we make accurate calculations and prescribe the most suitable substances for the treatment process itself. We precisely determine the therapy for a period of one month, at the same time we monitor the patient's well-being and the impact of CBD on his well-being. In case of unsatisfactory results, we also change the therapy.
