How did we start?
We founded the company BioMons 1, doo, ten years ago, but this is not the beginning of our journey, as we opened our first business back in 1989. Since then, we have accumulated a lot of experience, which we now use to our advantage in raising awareness of the many potentials of cannabis for health and living. In 2009, we accidentally learned about the effects of cannabis on health. In a wider circle of friends and family, we learned about cannabis and its benefits during a challenging medical case. Cannabis and its healing effect on humans captivated us to the point that we devoted the next seven years to this field in detail. In Slovenia, we first connected with the Green Directive Institute in Maribor, where we acquired knowledge, all the necessary instruments and a galenic laboratory; we cultivated our own organic cannabis in a botanical way. This way, we became familiar with all the procedures - from sowing to making cannabis preparations. We developed the idea of targeted products that would help with various health problems. Unfortunately, it is very difficult to start independent production of cannabis preparations through official channels in Slovenia, so we decided to partner with a renowned company in this field.

How did we choose a quality company for CBD products?
Before we decided to cooperate with one of the leading recognized manufacturers of hemp health products, we crossed a good part of Europe in two years, visited quite a few professional fairs and conferences, inspected and studied numerous companies and thus gained a lot of information. We decided on Cannabis Pharma, sro, from the Czech Republic because of their more than twelve-year tradition in product development, ensuring the highest possible quality, HACCP and GMP standards, the best European knowledge in this field and, above all, because of their innovative approach in the production of hemp preparations using the most modern procedures. The first hemp product in Central Europe that managed to reach the shelves of pharmacies was their line of medicinal hemp cosmetics called Canaderm. After several years of development, an innovative line of CBD preparations was created – CBDex Over-the-Counter Cannabis, which was already tested and placed on the market in 2015. The company develops and successfully markets these products throughout Europe and in the USA.

The connection with the aforementioned company was groundbreaking, as it was only with their help that we were able to achieve truly pure and high-quality products. All products are made in the Czech Republic, according to our own, original recipes, which are the result of research by a scientific team. They use the latest equipment, knowledge and findings in production and meet the strict standards that apply to the production and processing of hemp. All products have been approved by the competent authorities and are certified for sale in the EU. They are also co-owners of the company CBDepot, sro, where they obtain the highest quality raw materials for the production of preparations. Cooperation with the entire strategic team, which supports development with a scientific approach, is also of great value. It is worth mentioning in particular Dr. Jan Storh, Doctor of Organic Chemistry, and Zuzana Škodova, Dr. med., who is also a homeopath and was the president of the Czech Medical Homeopathic Association from 2001 to 2007.

What is our vision?
The vision of the BioMons 1 company is not only to offer people a natural, effective and human-friendly CBD preparation that eases many problems and increases the quality of life, but also to eventually present to people all the benefits of cannabis (how they can use it to their advantage in their home environment, how to grow it and what they can make from it). That is why we are also committed to the earliest possible solution to the chaos that reigns in the legislative field (not only here, but all over the world), the decriminalization of cannabis and such regulation that will allow people to plant themselves and responsibly provide themselves with the benefits of this wonderful plant. An important part of the company's vision is therefore the rebuilding of a holistic attitude towards cannabis. To this end, we have also joined the national project Together for the Health of Man and Nature, where we raise awareness of the general public and professionals, especially about the importance of CBD preparations, through lectures, literature and personal contacts.

What is our most important message to the general public?
We want to let people know how important it is to be in balance. Nowadays, due to negative environmental influences and an unhealthy lifestyle, we are too exposed to exhaustion, both physical and mental. When we are in balance, everything goes better for us, it's quite simple, and cannabis, with its invaluable traditional knowledge, gives us a pillar of strength to achieve our goals more easily. Especially for the elderly, it is very important that cannabis preparations can raise the quality of life to a higher level, as they support the balance of the musculoskeletal and neurological system and thus successfully avoid neurodegenerative and many other changes.
