Autumn - How do I prepare for it?
Autumn season
How do we prepare for autumn? In nature, things are cyclical, they circle, they repeat themselves. A tree sprouts in the spring, turns green in the summer and prepares fruit, in the fall the fruit ripens and the leaves dry, and in the winter the sap retreats into the soil and the tree rests.
In traditional Western medicine, we often find images comparing a person to a tree. Except that the tree is upside down. So the human head is connected to the roots, and the genitals and legs are connected to the crown and flowers. The flowers are the sexual part of the plant, and the roots enable grounding, connection to the source of life. Our head, thoughts, brain are connected to the Source.
Our ancestors lived in harmony with natural cycles, working on and with the earth. Autumn was synonymous with preparing winter food, picking ripe fruits and berries, fermenting cabbage and turnips, because the earth rests in winter and food needs to be provided in advance.
The world is much different these days. In the summer we usually have a week or two off to relax, if we can manage it, and on the other days we work until late. If we have a piece of land, we might find an hour or so a day for a garden, where we only have fresh vegetables in the spring and summer, but probably not enough for the winter.
We work indoors with too little light and sunlight, staring at screens with blue light, with bent backs, tired brains, bodies and souls. Genuine contact with nature gave us inner peace, but today as a society we are prone to burnout, nervous disorders, depression and anxiety. Because we have lost our natural compass.
Autumn for our endocannabinoid system
This natural compass also represents our own cannabinoid systemA system that knows exactly how the body should function, how to find balance, how to communicate between different bodily functions, cells and organs. It is the system that keeps us going, even when we are completely exhausted and intoxicated. Our own cannabinoid system is responsible for repairing damage, errors, inflammation, for removing toxins, for calming violent responses, for better blood flow, lymph and information. You could call it the inner internet. Cannabinoids allow us to connect with other people, to be able to talk, to be able to feel.
How much the world today pressures us and distracts us from this very feeling of connection with the world and other people. How much we are afraid of everything and have a hard time trusting, not only others, but our own decisions. It's as if we were living on a boat in a stormy ocean with no island in sight where we could at least rest a little.
It is so important that our cannabinoid system works properly and does not become depleted. That is why our ancestors revered cannabis as a sacred plant. Because it has always had a beneficial effect on our system. Because it has always been for us medicinalShe restored to us the balance that we had occasionally lost.
What about today? How much longer are we in balance with all these toxins, stress, electromagnetic waves, depleted foods, unsuitable work environments, etc.? Today, cannabis is much more important, much more necessary for our survival and quality of life.
Her ability to clean contaminated soil, is exceptional. That's why it's all the more important to always choose pure preparations to support our health. We choose those where we can verify that they don't contain heavy metals, mold, and pesticides. Because we really don't need the extra burden if we want to be healthy.
Cannabis and our immune system
Cannabis demands more from us connection with ourselves, because the dosage is determined individually for each person. Therefore, it is necessary to observe ourselves and feel what is happening to us. We also need to know what we want to achieve. Cannabis can give us more energy, increase tone, speed up metabolism, but it can also calm us and encourage us to rest. It depends on doses, moods and needs of the body.
When we use cannabis, we work directly with our endocannabinoid system, which then regulates all other systems. Therefore, we can say that it is Cannabis is suitable for any disease.
The upcoming fall season in particular calls for support for our cannabinoid system, as this is a more stressful and tiring time for everyone. Why would we continue to believe that we will get sick and catch a cold in the fall, when it is not necessary and can be avoided with the right support?
It was only when I felt the change in myself when I took cannabis that I understood what the immune system is. It is not a separate system that takes care of defending against invaders. No one attacks us except ourselves with our habits. The “immune system” is also concerned with maintaining balance. To toxins They are eliminated from the body quickly enough and there is no need to raise body temperature and produce mucus through which toxins are expelled from the body. Our entire organism is constantly working to keep our temple clean enough to be suitable for life. Cannabis does this job extremely well. That is why in my opinion home pharmacy always present.
Nature offers us another special "creature" that acts similarly to the internet on the entire organism and brings balance. These are mushroomsMushrooms have a special place in traditional medicine (Chinese, Tibetan, shamanism, Western tradition), and in recent decades also in allopathic medicine and especially oncology, as they achieve excellent results.
Mushrooms represent what a quarter of biomass, which is present on earth. We still do not know the origin of mushrooms. The oldest mushroom, Aureofungus yaniguaensis, was found in fossilized amber and is about 90 million years old. However, 400 million years ago, giant mushrooms existed on earth, the fossils of which have been found in Saudi Arabia and Canada.
Medicinal mushrooms and us
Of the 14,000 known mushrooms, 200 medicinal value, of which 75 grow in China. Medicinal mushrooms promote interstitial fluid drainage (ECM) and modulate the functioning of the immune system system. Toxins and heavy metals are first made removable and then eliminated through various excretory organs. The connection of mushrooms with our microbiome, as the beta glucans in mushrooms are food for our intestinal bacteria. Mushrooms stimulate processes in us self-regulation, which maintain our basic structure - this is the connection between the immune, metabolic and enteric systems. The communication of mushrooms with humans is very primitive and precise.
Chaga (Inonotus obliquus) is a mushroom that contains high levels of melanin. This is food for our skin and light protection, as well as for the pineal gland. It is also one of the most powerful antioxidants in nature.
Ganoderma (Ganoderma lucidum) is a mushroom primarily used for immunomodulation (autoimmune diseases and allergies), while also acting as a protective agent for cells and DNA.
Maitake (Grifola frondosa) It predominantly affects the metabolic system, optimizing the management of nutrients in our body.
Hericium (Hericium erinaceus) and Phellinus (Phellinus ignarius) are mushrooms traditionally used for the nervous system and preventing the breakdown of the myelin sheath, for nerve regeneration, and for the stomach and liver.
Polyporus (Polyporus umbellatus) It works great for draining all fluids in the body, especially lymph. Wherever water stagnates in the body or where it is necessary to release the lymph nodes and cleanse the body of toxins, we work with Polyporus.
Cordyceps (Cordyceps sinensis) It is a tonic that increases oxygen intake into cells, increases energy, and enables faster recovery.
Auricularia (Auricularia auricula) It is originally a sponge for protecting the heart and blood vessels. At the same time, it also works on the mucous membranes and their protection.
These are just a few medicinal mushrooms that definitely deserve a place in your home pharmacy.
This fall, we can look for some mushrooms in the forest, perhaps pick them and discover their secrets and connections with trees. This will also contribute to better health and stress tolerance.
So we see some similarities in the way cannabis and mushrooms work. Connection, communication, balance, protection of the body, cleansing of toxins. Who doesn't need that these days?
